Go Fukuoku Yourself

One of the biggest problems I find when using a small clitoral stimulator like an egg or bullet is having to hold onto it with my hand. After a while, it can get tricky to keep it in place. I’ve often thought it’d be nice to have something attached to my finger that I wouldn’t have to hold.

Enter the Fukuoku 9000. This small vibrator is billed as a fingertip massager, which can be used to massage your temples or more erogenous zones. It's been around for a while and I've never tried it, so I couldn’t resist reviewing this for Babeland.com .
The Fukuoku 9000 comes in a hard to open clamshell case. I’ve gotten used to being able to open them easily, but this packaging must be cut and torn away to get to the product. I mean seriously, I want to play with a new toy right away, not after 5 minutes of struggling with the package!  Inside and visible through the package are the fingertip unit, 3 attachments, a storage pouch, and 4 AG-13 watch batteries. The batteries are used 2 at a time, so you have 2 spares. It also comes with a limited 6 month warranty.

The storage pouch is nice. It’s made of PVC, but has a dull, grained finish to simulate leather. The pouch is 3 1/2” wide, 3” tall, and about 3/4" thick. It has a loop as wide as the pouch on the back so you could wear this on a belt if you chose. The pouch closes with Velcro, and is roomy enough to hold everything inside.
The Fukuoku 9000 itself is made of see-through black plastic. It’s 2 3/4" long from end to end, 1” wide at the finger extender, and about 1 1/4" wide farther down. Two pieces of hinged plastic separate as needed to slip your finger in, and they should spread wide enough to accommodate the largest of fingers.

The battery compartment is on top of the unit, and is opened by pressing firmly back until the lid snaps off. The two batteries sit side by side, positive side up. The batteries should always be replaced in pairs for best results. To replace the lid, press down and slide until the lid clicks into place.
The power button for the Fukuoku is on the side, and is a slide button. Sliding it towards the tip turns it on.

The 3 tips are grey and made of 100% pure surgical grade silicone. Each tip is 1 1/4” long, and about 1” wide. The tips are thin, and slide into position on the finger extender. Each tip has a seam running around the sides, but it’s not too noticeable on any of the tips while in use.

Each tip has a different pattern on its pad. One pattern is a small series of dots in circles, another is 3 circles in the shape of a target, and the last is 4 straight lines running horizontally across the pad. The patterns don’t stick out a lot from the sleeve, although the one with the dots feels the most pronounced.

When you wear the Fukuoku on your finger, the opening goes towards the top of your hand, and the patterned side of the sleeve faces downward. The idea here is that the pad is an extension to your finger, and also transmits the vibrations through the nub to the area you want to stimulate.  If you don't want vibration, you can also wear the sleeves on your finger.
The Fukuoku 9000 is so named because it vibrates 9000 times per minute. It’s pretty quiet, although it has a bit of a high pitched sound to it. You won’t hear it over the TV, and neither will anyone else sitting in the room. The vibrations are high and buzzy.

The Fukuoku is made of plastic and the sleeves are silicone, so it’s body-safe, phthalates-free, non-porous, and latex free. It’s easy to clean. The sleeves can be safely cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water, or they can be run through the dishwasher on the top rack to sanitize them. The unit itself is not waterproof, and can best be cleaned by wiping its surface with a clean cloth wetted with alcohol, then dried with a second cloth. If necessary, water-based lubricants are safe to use.

So, Does It Work?  While the vibrations are fast and buzzy, they don't seem very intense.  They do feel good, however: this is a nice toy to use for foreplay or warmup.  I didn't notice much difference in the sleeves, even when grinding my finger into my clit.

The Fukuoku is hard enough to allow me to get the pressure I needed and wide enough to cover plenty of area with tingly vibrations.  It gets me in the mood by itself, and it will get me to orgasm, but it takes a really long time.  Combined with other stimulation, however, it works quite a bit faster.

I do like having the vibe on my finger.  It's a lot easier than trying to hold a bullet or small clit vibe in place.  The material really transmits the vibrations to my finger as well.  There's no getting around that, but it can make my finger a bit numb.

This is great to travel with - it takes up little space and is easy to throw into a purse or suitcase.  The battery life is also decent.

Another Wireless Bullet Review? Yes, Indeed!

Yes, it's true - I have tried out 2 different wireless bullets this month.  This one is the Harmony Wireless Wonder from Doc Johnson.
No watch batteries here - just 3 N batteries and 1 12v battery.
This is a good-sized bullet!
The batteries are easy to insert in both the bullet ...

...and the remote.
You can have a lot of fun in public with this one!

I have a video I made of the Harmony Wireless Wonder as well as my review, which you can watch and read over on EdenFantasys.  Thank you to EdenFantasys for sending this to me for free to review!

Fun In Public? Oh, Yes!

Wireless toys have been my thing lately. There’s something about getting off in public that’s quite a turn-on. This is apparently my month for reviewing them, and I was pretty excited to receive the 7 Function Remote Bullet from Cal Exotics for my Sexpert review.
This bullet vibrator comes in an easy to open box, with an actual size picture of the product on the front, as well as a nice looking couple. The back of the box points out some of the features of both the bullet and remote, as well as other product information. Inside of the box is the bullet, remote control, 1 12v battery, 8 watch batteries (4 are needed at a time), and a small instruction sheet that gives the battery orientation.

Both the remote and bullet are a pretty vibrant purple, and both are made of plastic with a velvet cote covering, so they’re soft to the touch and have no smell or taste. Both pieces are non-porous and phthalates free.
The bullet is 3” long, with a 1 1/4" diameter. It’s meant to be inserted vaginally (never insert this anally!), and it has a 3 3/4" retrieval cord that feels plastic coated attached at the bottom for easy removal. It has a noticeable seam running around the middle where the two pieces screw together, but it can’t be felt during use. It also has a Cal Ex sticker, which leaves some residue when removed, although it’s simple enough to get off.
The halves are easy to unscrew, and the battery compartment holds 4 watch batteries, which must be inserted + side down (the flat side of the batteries). The batteries do come held in plastic in 2 groups of four – make sure you remove the plastic or you’ll have a hard time removing them from the bullet! They can be a bit tricky to insert as well. A rubber O-ring sits at the bottom of the thread, making this bullet waterproof.
The remote is small and flat. It’s 2 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide, and about 3/8” thick. It has a hole at the top where it can be attached to a keychain if desired. It also has a telescopic antenna which extends to 2 3/4".

The remote holds 1 12v battery, which is inserted by sliding the battery compartment off. The battery is held securely, and the battery door, once replaced, won’t come off unexpectedly.
The front of the remote has four buttons: a dedicated on/off button, 7 function F button, and 2 buttons to control the speed, labeled + and -. A small LED light is next to the speed buttons, and flashes red when any of the buttons is pressed. It doesn’t stay lit, so you can’t use it to tell if the bullet is on or off, or what mode it is in. You’ll have to rely on your partner to tell you. While the bullet is waterproof, the remote is not . Make sure not to submerge this in water!
The bullet has 7 speeds and 7 functions. When turned on, the bullet starts in a low steady vibration. Pressing + increases the power to maximum (about 5 presses). Pressing the F button at this point does the following:
- increase in power about 5 seconds, back to slightly lower for 5 seconds, repeats
- “shaker” pattern from high to low
- medium pulses
- fast pulses
- medium pulses that gradually get longer and less intense, then a few revs before repeating
- 2 short and 1 long pulse
- low and steady vibration

The bullet is pretty quiet when inserted, and won’t be heard if there’s any kind of background noise. This is great to use at a bar or noisy restaurant, if you can handle the vibrations. The high speeds can get a bit intense if the bullet runs for a while.

The bullet should be washed before and after each use with an antibacterial soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner. The remote should be wiped off, if necessary, with a damp cloth. Both pieces should be dried off with a soft towel. Water-based and silicone lubricants are safe to use with the bullet.

So, Does It Work? For the most part, yes. It’s definitely quiet enough to wear in public, and we were able to control the bullet from about 20 – 25 feet away. It certainly made grocery shopping more entertaining! I found the 2 short and 1 long pulse to be my favorite setting – it certainly didn’t let me forget I had it in!

We did have some trouble with the bullet stopping when cycling through the patterns. This occurred more on the lower speeds, although it would happen on the higher speeds as well, when he was consciously pushing the buttons.  The LED doesn't stay lit, so your partner will have to ask you if it's on and what pattern it's on.

My husband kept this in his pocket, and didn’t have any problems with hitting the buttons by mistake when he had loose pockets, but it did change pattern or shut off when he was wearing tight jeans. He has the same problem with his cell phone in tight pockets as well, so for us looser pockets are a better choice. He would have liked to put this on a keychain, but he balked at the purple color. It attached fine to my keychain, and with all the other things on there I didn’t find it to stand out or be too noticeable.

My biggest issue with this bullet is the way it drains batteries. I was happy that 8 were included, because after only using the bullet for about 30 minutes (during which it performed admirably), coming home, and removing the batteries for storage, the batteries were dead when I went to use them again. The same happened with the other 4 batteries. I’m not sure if it had to due with the batteries not being the freshest, or if the bullet just eats them.

Overall, we had a lot of fun with this one. Thank you to Cal Exotics for sending me this for free to review!

Bubbles of Fun!

I love Fun Factory toys. Especially their rechargeable ones. So when Babeland offered to send me the Fun Factory Bubbles vibrator to review, I was ecstatic.

The Bubbles vibrator is part of the new mini-line, which features Click and Charge technology. This vibrator comes packaged in the standard grey and red Fun Factory box, visible through the front. Product information is on the back, and an instruction pamphlet is included. This looked so cute in the window, I couldn’t wait to get it in my hands!
This vibrator is adorable (does that sound strange to call a vibrator?) with four pink bubbles squished together atop a black plastic base (it also comes in blue). It looks a bit like a caterpillar, although without the Fun Factory face. It’s super soft and squishy and fun to play with. It’s made of 100% silicone, so it’s body safe, phthalates-free, latex free, and hypoallergenic. The texture has a bit of a drag to it, and it’s fun just to hold and squeeze the toy.
This vibrator is small. It’s just 5 1/2” long, with 4” of insertable length. The bubbles are 1 1/2" wide at their widest point and flexible. The bubbles form a gentle curve, which is great for g-spot stimulation (but this vibrator should NOT be used anally). These bubbles sit atop the black base, which says “Fun” on the bottom. This is where the charger is connected.
The charger, which comes in a separate box, is a simple magnetic charger, with 2 points of contact for the vibrator. This charger is compatible with all the new Click and Charge Fun Factory toys. The rechargeable battery is a lithium polymer, and can be recharged at any time, so you don’t have to wait for the Bubbles vibrator to be completely discharged before powering it up again.
The Bubbles vibrator must be charged for 6 hours before first use (later charges should be considerably less). The 2 “Fun” logos must be placed completely on top of each other. When it’s a steady red, the Bubbles is ready for use. The charger snaps right on, but it’s a bit easy to dislodge, so you’ll want to make sure you’re charging this in a location where nothing will bump the charger or toy. You’ll know it’s charging since the logo pulses red while it’s gathering power. The charger can’t be connected during use – the vibrator will switch off if it’s connected.
The Bubbles vibrator is easy to operate. Two touch buttons are located on the front bottom of the silicone, and all you can see is the + and – sign where they are. To turn the vibrator on, press and hold the + button for 2 seconds. It will start on it’s lowest vibration, which is incredibly low and steady. Pressing + repeatedly about 3 more times will boost the Bubble’s power to it’s maximum vibration speed, which is quite strong and rumbly, although very quiet.

The vibration patterns can be accessed when the Bubbles is on high by pressing the + button again. The patterns that it cycles through are: long pulses, medium pulses, and fast pulses. The patterns keep cycling with a press of the + button: pressing – takes the vibrations back to steady on the highest setting.

The Bubbles vibrator doesn’t have a dedicated off button. To turn off, simply press and hold the – button until the vibrator stops. At full power, the Bubbles will operate for 1 hour before it needs to be recharged.

This vibrator is easy to clean. It should be cleaned both before and after each use with a mild soap and water and patted dry. It can be stored in its box. Only water-based lubricants are safe to use.

If you travel with the Bubbles, temperature changes can cause condensation on the vibrator, and you should wait a few hours before charging or using. The vibrator shouldn’t come into contact with metal surfaces, which can cause a short circuit. You should also keep credit cards or cards with magnetic strips away from this toy and its charger.

This vibrator is completely waterproof, so it can be used in the tub or shower as well as the bed.

So, Does It Work? I really enjoyed this vibrator. While the low speed did nothing for me – I could barely feel it – the high speed was wonderfully strong. The pulse patterns were nice to alternate with the high speed. It worked well both on my clit as well as internally. I could hit my g-spot with this vibrator, but it was a bit tricky to manipulate and thrust due to its short length. I did find that I had to use a lot of lubricant with this one, but once I did it was slick and comfortable. This was fun to use in the bath as well, although I didn’t like it in the shower due to its short length.

I found it did keep its charge about an hour, and it was pretty easy to recharge. It took the Bubbles about 3 hours to charge up when I completely drained the batteries.

Overall, I’d recommend the Bubbles vibrator from Fun Factory. It’s quite a bit of fun!

Simply Divine!

I've gotten a lot of new bondage gear lately, in particular cuffs and collars.  My newest collar that I received free from EdenFantasys to review is the Divinity Collar from Spartacus.  White leather, light blue faux fur lining, and blue rhineshones make this pretty as well as functional.  The snap back makes it easy to adjust and remove, and the small D-ring allows you to attach a leash for play.  The Divine Collar, is, simply divine!

You can read my review of this collar for EdenFantasys by clicking here.

HNT: Simple Black & White

This is a really cute pair of shoes!  They're much lower than a lot that I have, and fun to wear to work.
This weekend, I'll be flipping closets for spring.  That means swapping out drawers, clothes, and - you guessed it - shoes!  I can't wait to bring out my summer sandals!
