Useful Book and a Powerhouse Vibrator

Finding your G-spot can be tricky, but once you’ve found it you’ll want to have g-spot orgasms again and again. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find, and with so much misinformation out there you might want a good reference book to tell you all about it. A good vibe for g-spot play is also essential. While I’ve happily found my g-spot, I’ve never read much about it. So when I got the Orchid G + Smart Girl’s Guide to the G-Spot Combo from Babeland I was pretty excited.
The Combo comes with a g-spot book and g-spot vibrator. All you need is some time to read, time to play, and 2 AA batteries to get going.

The Book
The Smart Girl’s Guide to the G-Spot is written by Violet Blue. I’d never read anything by her before, but she is an award-winning author and editor. The book is copyrighted 2007, and is soft-cover with 129 pages.

This is an easy to read, light book. Violet Blue presents the material with quite a bit of humor and is never condescending or overly technical. She’s very conversational in her writing and presents a lot of good information, tips, and tricks. At the end of four of the chapters are some good erotic short stories by Alison Tyler, all dealing with g-spot play.

The book has an introduction on becoming the master of your g-spot, and 7 chapters filled with information on the subject:

- In Get Smart, you learn what the g-spot is (and isn’t), some of the myths surrounding the g-spot, and how it got its name.
- What’s Inside A Girl has some great information on where the g-spot is and what it looks like.
- Turn It On, Turn It Up talks about how you can stimulate your g-spot, and what it feels like when you do.
- G-Spots are for Sharing suggests positions and ideas for stimulating your g-spot with a partner.
- Wet Spots: Ejaculation contains information about how to squirt, with some techniques to try.
- Faster Deeper, More! talks about g-spot stimulation using toys, as well as anal play, oral attention, S/M play, and fisting.
- Shopping and Further study recommends places to shop online, as well as useful books and videos. It also contains information on safe sex.

So, is it worth it? In a word, yes. There’s a lot of good information here, although I wish the chapter on female ejaculation would have been longer and more thorough. The short stories are a great addition as well.

The Vibrator
The Orchid Slimline G vibrator from Topco was a complete surprise. Having an enormous number of g-spot vibrators in my toy cabinets, I was not expecting to be amazed with this one.

The Orchid comes in 3 colors. Mine came in purple, and it’s a lovely shade of lavender. This has a very simple shape. A large, egg-shaped head is attached to a long, slender neck. There is a very slight seam that runs up one side and down the other, but it can hardly be felt with your finger much less when it’s in use. The Orchid is super smooth to the touch.
The egg, which is angled for g-spot stimulation, is 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" wide at its widest point.  The neck between the egg and the base is 5 1/4" long and only 3/4" in diameter. This connects to the 1” long and 1” wide base.

The base unscrews to access the battery compartment. There’s a small roll of paper inside which indicates battery direction (positive side goes in first). The paper can be removed, but it can also be left in place. It doesn’t interfere with the Orchid’s operation and makes it just a bit quieter to use.
The Orchid is waterproof so it can be used safely in the shower or bath. It needs to have the base securely tightened, however, to achieve this. If you find that your Orchid doesn’t turn on when batteries are inserted, tightening the base more will do the trick.

The vibrations are felt mostly in the egg and not much at all down the shaft. Vibration intensity is controlled by a twist dial on the base which is not so easy to turn that you change settings by mistake. The dial makes the vibrations go from very low to seriously, amazingly high. With the power, however, comes the noise. It’s not so bad before you get this to the halfway point, but once you’ve got this on maximum speed/vibration, this is very loud.  It can be heard through a closed door.  Leaving the paper in the battery compartment helps somewhat, but discreet is not the Orchid’s middle name.

The Orchid is made of plastic, and it’s non-porous and phthalates-free. It can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water or wiped down with isopropyl alcohol or your favorite toy cleaner. Water-based and silicone lubricants are safe to use.

So, is it worth it? Hell, yes! I really love this vibrator. The vibrations are intense and feel great on my g-spot. They also feel wonderful when I use this on my clitoris, and the handle makes this very easy to use. I was truly surprised by the power this one has – incredible!

This is a great combo, and I want to thank Babeland for sending this to me free to review!

Dual Use?

A vibrator that actually writes?  A pen that vibrates?  Yes, indeed.  Recently I got to review the Lina, a discreet vibrator from the Berman Center.  It looks discreet, but it's a loud one.
Vibrating pen with removable sleeve.
I did a video of this one, so you can see and hear it in action.  You can check it out and read the whole review on EdenFantasys.

Play Like An Egyptian

I love trying new rabbit vibrators.  For my first review for Vibrator.com, I selected the Triple Treat Rabbit vibrator. This toy definitely drew me to it by its interesting Egyptian styling, plus the fact that I’m always looking for either a good rabbit or dual stimulator. And a triple stimulator? You bet! The less toys I have to manipulate at the same time, the better.

The Triple Treat comes packaged in an easy-to-open clamshell, with the product visible through both sides. I got mine in purple, although it also comes in pink.

Once removed from the packaging, the Triple Treat has a bit of a smell to it. It’s not overwhelming – although it doesn’t have to be right under your nose to detect it - and smells like a cross between rubber and grape. It’s an odd smell, but It fades considerably after a few washes and airing outs.  Then it smells a bit like playdoh.

The rubber material is squishy, and slightly tacky. It is also very flexible.

The Triple Treat is about 9 1/2” long overall. The main shaft is about 4 1/2" insertable and a pleasant 1 1/2” in diameter. The purple color has some shine to it and is very pretty. The shaft is detailed to look like a Pharaoh, complete with headdress and arms crossed to hold an ankh and whip. The headdress turns into the head of the shaft when viewed from the side or back, and large veins run down the sides and back. The upper half of the shaft is very flexible, down to where the bullet is located.

The anal probe is 4 1/2" long, and is quite slim – just a hair over 1/2" in diameter – so it’s suitable for beginners. It is covered with small lines, and incredibly flexible, although firm enough for insertion. This flexibility allows the Triple Treat to be used without inserting this probe if desired.

The clitoral piece is about 2” long and 1” wide. It looks like a lion, with 3 tongues that reach out from its mouth for stimulation. The bullet is located in its middle, and it can be flexed from below close to the base.

The base is 2 1/2" long, and large enough to easily hold the Triple Treat. It’s a bright, shiny purple that looks metallic although it’s made of plastic. It looks a bit like the “metal” used on toy ray guns. The base opens by sliding off the back, and inside is a warranty sheet.

The Triple Treat Rabbit Vibrator uses 4 AA batteries, which are easily inserted in the base, and there’s no problem figuring out which way they go in. The back is a bit tricky to get back on, and you’ll want to make sure it’s firmly In place so it doesn’t pop off during use.

The vibrations for the Triple Treat are controlled on the front of the base. It has an on/off button, and two dials. The dial on the left, labeled “Teaser”, controls the shaft and anal probe. The shaft’s vibrations are strongest from the base to about 1/2 way up, and much gentler in the tip. The anal probe vibrates incredibly all the way up to the tip. It doesn’t feel like it has a bullet in it, but the vibrations from the shaft’s bullet transmit delightfully up the probe.

The dial on the right is labeled “Pleaser” and controls the clitoral stimulator. The lion, and its 3 tongues, vibrate madly when turned to maximum intensity.

The vibrations go from low to very fast in intensity, and you can adjust the vibration of each to get the right pleasing combination.  When the vibrations are on maximum for both dials, the Triple Treat is very loud. It’s best to have some music on in the background to help cover up the sound.

You’ll want to make sure when you’re done using the Triple Treat that you do have it turned off and that you don’t just have the dials turned down. As with all vibrators, it’s best to remove the batteries when the toy is not in use.

While the packaging does not list the material, it smells and feels like rubber or a rubber compound. This material is dirt-repellant, but porous, and a bit difficult to clean. It’s best to use a condom with this toy. Both silicone and water-based lubricants are safe to use.

To clean, the Triple Treat can be washed with antibacterial soap and warm water, or you can use a toy cleaner. You’ll want to carefully clean around the detailing on the shaft and clitoral piece, and a small soft brush (like a toothbrush) will help clean the crevasses. The base should be wiped with a soapy cloth and carefully dried. The Triple Treat is not waterproof, so be careful not to get water in the battery compartment.

So, does it work?  Yes and no.  The anal probe vibrates like mad, is easy to insert, and feels great, although it could be a bit wider.  The main shaft has more vibrations towards the bottom than the head, and doesn't stimulate as much deep inside as I'd like.

When the shaft and anal probe are fully inserted, the clitoral piece is a bit too short to hit me where I need it, but adjusting it tends to pull the shaft and anal probe out a bit.  The tongues on the lion flicker wonderfully, and the vibration is quite intense, but for me it needs to be just a bit longer.  It depends on your anatomy as to how well this will work for you.

I found this worked the best with short, shallow thrusts.

I didn't have any problem hitting the on/off button or the dials by mistake.  The base was easy to hold on to, although there were a few times I thought the back to the battery compartment was going to come off.

If you're looking for a rabbit with an unusual look and the added bonus of an anal probe, the Triple Treat Vibrator is one to look at.

Riding the Orgasm Waves

I love cock rings. I particularly love them on my husband as, in addition to helping stay erect longer, they turn his penis into a vibrating delight. They also work well on toys when you really, really need that big dildo to vibrate a bit. Since we only have a few (an incredibly small number, in fact, when compared to the myriad of toys for myself), I figured it was time for a new one, and Babeland provided me with the Wave Rider Cock Ring with Stimulator from Doc Johnson for free to review.

The Wave Rider comes in a small plastic box, with the ring and bullet visible through the front. Product information is listed on the back. It also comes with 3 cell batteries, so you can have some fun with it right away.

Both the cock ring and the bullet are a lovely shade of slate blue. This is a nice change from the clear or crazy colored rings you usually see. The ring is translucent and made of TPE, and it has a funky scent out of the box, although you have to get it right under your nose to smell it. It fades considerably after several uses and washes. The ring is a bit tacky to the touch, and wants to collect hair and dust, so make sure to wash it both before and after use.

The ring is 2 1/2" long from tip to bottom. At the top is a 1” long and 3/4" wide clitoral stimulator which looks like a wave with gentle ribs. Behind this piece is the holder for the bullet. The ring has an unstretched diameter of 1”. It’s super stretchy, and can stretch to fit a pop can without tearing.

The bullet is just the cutest little thing. It’s a mini bullet, and only 2 1/4" long and 1/2" wide. It’s made of ABS plastic. The base unscrews to hold 3 cell batteries, inserted positive side up. This little treasure has a dial base, and its vibrations go from low to very high and buzzy. They can be felt equally well all over the bullet, and are decently strong for the bullet size. The bullet is a bit noisy – a little louder tan a cell phone vibrating – but it’s not too bad.

Both the ring and the bullet are phthalates-free and can be cleaned by washing them with antibacterial soap and warm water, or cleaning them with a toy cleaner. Both water-based and silicone lubricants are safe to use.

Both pieces are waterproof, so you can use the Wave Rider in the shower or bath with no problem. Just make sure that you close the cap tightly on the bullet so it is well-seated against the rubber o-ring.

I couldn’t talk my partner into modeling this for photos, so you’ll have to make due with the Ballsy Mint Cock from Doc Johnson sporting the Wave Rider.

The cock ring is easy to use - simply slip it on your partner's erect penis, with the bullet positioned so that it will hit your clit.   The ring is stretchy enough so you can slip the balls through as well (if you choose to wear it this way, put the ring on when your partner is not erect).

If you're going to be in missionary or some variation, the bullet should be positioned on top to hit your clit.

For doggy style, it should be positioned on the bottom.

If you're putting this on around the balls, you can also position the bullet so it's underneath.  As with all cock rings, don't wear this for longer than 30 minutes.

So, did it work?  It did.  We don't have a lot of rings, and he's somewhat leery of putting his balls through, so this ended up at the base of his shaft.  It helped keep him erect longer, and the vibrations from the bullet felt great against my clit when he'd thrust.  We tried it with the bullet both above and below in different positions, and we both enjoyed it.  We tried this one day in the shower as well, and the bullet's O-ring kept the water from entering the battery compartment.

This is a nice, inexpensive cock ring, and the bullet will also fit other cock rings that have a removable bullet.

Thank you to Babeland for sending me this for free to review!

I Had A Shoegasm

Seriously, a big one.

We went shopping over the weekend, and I hit the coolest shoe store EVER.  With tons of shoes in my size, and many at 80% off.  I thought I showed considerable restraing by only buying 9 pairs.

I really love these!  They're my blue suede boots.  Surprisingly comfortable, and I think pretty hot.
Let me know what you think!

Heavy Metal

I love anal plugs, and I particularly like metal ones. Other materials are nice, but metal plugs have that added feeling of weight that plugs made of other materials just can’t match. Most of the metal plugs I’ve seen have lovely designs. The Luxotiq Anal Plug is no exception.

This plug comes packaged in a pretty white and pink box with Luxotiq written on the top in script. The box is nice enough to be given as a gift. Untie the pale pink ribbon and lift the lid, and the plug is nestled inside on a bed of white satin over foam. Included in the box are a soft pink cloth for drying the plug and a small card with information on care.

The plug is made from surgical grade stainless steel, which is non-porous, phthalates free, latex free, and hypoallergenic. It has no smell or taste, and is very easy to clean. It can be washed with soap and water, and dried with a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners should never be used as they will scratch the finish. It can be disinfected by boiling or running it through the dishwasher on the top rack, and shouldn’t water spot. Water-based, oil, and silicone lubricants are all safe to use.

I haven’t found after cleaning that it retains any kind of scent from use. It can be stored safely in the box it comes in, or another type of padded bag can be used.

The Luxotiq plug is probably the heaviest plug I own, even heavier than my Njoys. It has a beautiful design with rounded edges and curves that beg to be enfolded by your body. It could probably be set out with no one being the wiser as to what it was.

It’s not as large as it looks in the pictures, and is smaller than a pop can. It is 4 3/4" long, with an insertable length of 4 1/2". It is 1 3/8” wide at its maximum diameter. The head is easy to insert with a liberal lube application. The larger bulb may take a bit of warm-up.

The neck narrows down to 1/2” before flaring into the base. I had no trouble with this staying in place, or coming out when I didn’t want it to. It can be worn out, but because of both the plug and base shape, I didn’t find this as comfortable to wear out and about as other plugs. It was fine for wearing around the house and during sex, however, and I never forgot it was there.

This is truly a beautiful and functional plug. It’s a joy to look at and a pleasure to use.

If you like a firm, heavier plug that isn’t too large, this is one to look at. I purchased mine at EdenFantasys, and you can too by clicking here.

HNT : Hot Shoes

I completely fell in love with these when I saw them!  I think mostly because of the sawtooth bottom.  They look awesome with capris or jeans.  I think I have too many pairs of shoes sometimes.

Enjoy!
